I figure I can use the catwalks to deal with any crawlers that are not a particular threat to the reinforced garage door. Obviously, by the design, I'm only going to have 2 dart traps. They are hollow beneath the catwalks until I can get my hands on some dart traps. I don't have the electrical tech yet to actually set it up, so right now they are just murder holes I can easily walk into and kill anything banging on the door. The protruding part of the wall was built to house dart traps to cover the garage door. If you have a door that may be exposed to zombie attack, like a garage door, it's a better static solution than a shotgun turret (especially if you're expecting only light attacks from strays, screamers, or wandering hordes). I use bars because I use the positions where the dart traps go as murder-holes to defend the outside of the door.ĭart traps are excellent door-guards, as they are both ammo and cost efficient security solutions to what is typically the weak point in a perimeter: the exits/entrances. Arrow slits and wood/iron bars (preferably the latter). Tripwires also work well if you have the space to protect the trigger endpoints.ģ. Thus: Zombie + Pressure Plate = Dart Trap Barrage. There are 5 Abandoned House 2s located at: 1159 N, 148 E 584 S, 1200 E 22 S, 35 W 1347 N, 1558 E 1008 N, 1936 W Abandoned House 2 can be found in towns, rural. There is a large hole in the side of the house for entry.

This variant of the Abandoned Houses is small with a second floor and an exterior staircase and a long porch. Wire Power > Motion Camera (set to zombies) > Relay > Pressure Plate > Dart Traps. Abandoned House 2 can be found in 5 different locations in Navezgane. Place the dart traps to cover the door from both sides, and a pressure plate to detect when a zombie stands to bang on the door. 2-4 dart traps, a pressure plate, a motion sensor, and a door. It's a good idea to have two opposing dart traps shoot towards each other, though, to offset this.Ģ.
